Each spring, the Calgary Stampede grounds open its doors to more than 900 eager participants for the Calgary Youth Science Fair. Rows of projects line the aisles, highlighting topics in geology, science, health, engineering and other related disciplines.
For the past two years, the CWC PCN has proudly awarded prizes to student recipients in recognition of outstanding health-related projects. The awards focus on health promotion projects with a view to encouraging and endorsing the pursuit of healthy living practices among youth. Winners often get additional exposure at other PCN events, providing a chance to showcase student successes across Calgary and beyond.

Letter from a student.
As the recipient of the Calgary West Central Primary Care Network Healthy Living Senior Award at the Calgary Youth Science Fair this year, I want to thank you for your generous sponsorship.
This is my sixth year at the fair and each year my experience is incredible. Five of my projects have focused on promoting healthy living, and I definitely want to pursue a career in this area. I greatly appreciate organizations such as yours which encourage students like me to do our best every year and for the rest of our lives.
Next year is the last year I can enter the fair, and I lan to continue with my focus on healthy living. Thank you for supporting me through your sponsorship, once again I greatly appreciate and am thankful for it.
