Tsuu T'ina

The Tsuu T'ina Health program provides primary care services to residents living in the Aboriginal community Tsuu T'ina Nation.  The program is delivered at the Health Centre during five, half-day clinics each week.
A team of PCN physicians and nurses offer routine primary care as well as screening and comprehensive care for chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity management and many other conditions. What began as a weekly prenatal clinic has since expanded to become a comprehensive women’s health clinic, dedicated to screening, prevention and early intervention for a range of women’s health issues.

A Success Story from our PCN

Drs. Ross MacDonald and Sonya Regehr feel privileged to have earned the trust of Tsuu T'ina residents.  It has taken more than two years for the practising physicians to even begin to understand the cultural, spiritual and social influences on their patients' health care benefits and practices.

It also meant the doctors had to take the first step by getting out of their Calgary clinic and stepping onto the Tsuu T'ina Nation Reserve, bringing health care right to their patients' homes and community.  Read more.
