Managing food and eating patterns are important to controlling a number of health problems including diabetes, excess weight, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. But getting good information on maintaining a healthy diet can be difficult for many patients.
The CWC PCN has two in-house dietitians who work with patients to make healthy eating a priority. Whether you’re pregnant or diabetic, or have celiac disease or food sensitivities, our dietitians can help you learn how to improve your health by making the best possible food choices. We offer both individual and group counseling at no cost to patients. Our dietitians also provide our physicians and nurses with information on new developments in the field of nutrition.
CONTACT: Individual and group counseling is offered at the Clinic at Westbrook and CUPS. Speak with your family physician or nurse if you have a medical condition that might improve with nutritional counseling.
