Pharmacy 

The Clinical Pharmacist program supports physicians by collaborating on care of patients with complex pharmacotherapy issues such as:
 
 • Patient education
 • Address medication concerns and treatment goals
 • Learning how to use medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, blood sugar monitors, and inhalers)
 • Giving injections
 • Smoking cessation counselling
 • Drug interactions and side-effects
 • Counseling on medication concerns such as cost of medications
 • Pharmacists may be available in your family physician’s office
